The bariatric program began in 2000 as a division of Western Surgical Group, the largest surgical practice in Northern Nevada.

With strong collaboration with three major medical centers, our surgeons and programs offer the advantages of multidisciplinary care and consultations.

Multiple ongoing research projects in conjunction with collaborating physicians help us learn more about obesity, its causes and treatments.
