Director of Marketing: Darolyn Skelton
Darolyn joined Western Bariatric Institute in the fall of 2007. She worked as a personal assistant to Dr. Kent Sasse for two years before she accepted the position as Director of Marketing. She graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. A native Montanan, she enjoys living in the mountains and has lived in the Reno/Tahoe area for over 20 years. In her spare time she enjoys skiing, hiking, mountain biking, boating and golfing and most everything Lake Tahoe has to offer. She is passionate about making a difference and feels privileged to be working in an industry that is so rewarding. Patient Advocate: Sarai Swanson 
Sarai joined the team at Western Bariatric Institute in January, 2007 as a Patient Advocate.  In this role, Sarai partners with patients to assist them with their pathway to surgery and is a resource for questions or concerns.  Sarai has been a part of the Reno/Sparks community for the last twenty years.  She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Marketing from the University of Nevada, Reno and has been working in the customer service industry for the last six years.  In her spare time, Sarai enjoys running, hiking, and playing basketball with her three year old son.  When asked what she likes best about her job, Sarai said, "It is very rewarding for me to know that I have been involved in helping to change others lives in a positive way!"  To reach Sarai, please call (775) 789-9190 or email her at sswanson@westernsurgical.com.
